Chef Adam Vandermey approaches infused dining with deep respect—for the plant, the plate, and the people seated around it. Every event is grounded in intentional dosing, high-quality ingredients, and from-scratch cooking, all prepared live in your kitchen for an unforgettable, immersive experience.

Before the evening begins, Chef Adam speaks with each guest individually to understand their comfort level, goals, and prior experience with cannabis. Every dish is then customized to meet that guest’s preferences, whether that means a gentle microdose, a more noticeable effect, or no infusion at all.

With over 30 years of professional culinary experience and 3.5 years as a private chef in Nicaragua, Chef Adam brings global inspiration, technical precision, and warm hospitality to every table he serves. He guides your group through the evening course by course, offering insight into each infusion and answering questions along the way.

Pricing & Booking Details

Every Your Canna Chef private dining experience is fully customized—from the menu to the infusion levels to the overall vibe. Because of this, pricing is based on your unique event details, including:

​

  • Number of guests (typically 4–10)

  • Menu complexity and number of courses

  • Infusion preferences and ingredient sourcing

 

Private dining experiences are priced per person, with packages starting at $125 per guest for a multi-course, live-cooked dinner in your home.

Chef Adam will schedule a one-on-one consultation to:​

  • Learn about your event and your guests

  • Discuss dietary needs, preferences, and desired outcomes

  • Collaborate on a customized menu and dosing plan 

  • Answer any questions you may have about the process​

This consultation is included in your booking and ensures that your experience is safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable for everyone at the table.

With over 30 years of culinary experience, Chef Adam Vandermey brings deep passion, skill, and a spirit of adventure to every plate he serves. His journey has taken him from high-end restaurants in Canada to three and a half unforgettable years as a private chef in Nicaragua, where he honed his craft cooking fresh, local ingredients in beachside villas and jungle kitchens alike.

Classically trained and endlessly curious, Adam combines his formal culinary education with years of hands-on experience to create menus that are as thoughtful as they are delicious. But it’s his work with cannabis infusion that truly sets him apart.

As the Executive Chef and Co-Founder of Your Canna Chef, Adam specializes in helping people experience cannabis in a whole new way—through intentional, gourmet-infused dining. He’s passionate about educating his guests on safe, precise dosing and using high-quality ingredients to enhance both flavour and effect.

Whether he's hosting an intimate dinner in your home or leading a class in his outdoor kitchen in St. Thomas, Adam’s goal is simple: to make you feel comfortable, curious, and well-fed.
