Tomahawk Steak for Two with Roasted Baby Potatoes and Sautéed Zucchini

Tomahawk Steak for Two with Roasted Baby Potatoes and sautéed Zucchini



Topping the steak with the THC butter allows it to melt onto the plate (make sure to mop up all of that goodness!) This meal was split between two plates and our butter contained 24mgs of THC per tablespoon giving each plate approximately 10-12mgs.


1 Tomahawk steak (about 2 inches thick)

1/2 pound baby potatoes, halved

1 medium zucchini, sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 tablespoons THC infused butter, softened (20-25mgs THC/tbsp)


Prepare the Tomahawk Steak:

Step 1 - Mise en place:

Slice your carrot down the middle into 2 pieces. Grate or dice the garlic. Cut zucchini into ½ inch half-moons. Cut mini potatoes in half.

Step 2:

Season the steak generously with salt and pepper. In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Sear the steak on each side for 2-3 minutes until a golden crust forms.

Step 3:

Transfer the steak to the parchment lined baking sheet with the carrots and potatoes. Insert a meat thermometer set to your desired doneness. We targeted medium-rare or 130-140F internal temperature.

Transfer the Food to Oven to cook

Prepare the Baby Potatoes:

In a bowl, toss the halved baby potatoes with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, and thyme.  Spread the potatoes on 1/3 of a parchment lined baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

Roasted the Carrots:

Arrange on the same parchment lined baking sheet. Drizzle with oil and season with salt and pepper. Roast for 20-25 minutes with the steak and potatoes.

Grilled the Zucchini:

Drizzle zucchini slices with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill the zucchini on a hot grill or grill pan for 2-3 minutes on each side until they have grill marks and are tender.

Prepare the Garlic Herb Butter:

In a small bowl, mix softened THC infused butter with minced garlic, chopped rosemary, and thyme. Season with salt and pepper.


Step 1:

Once the steak is done, tent it with foil and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Step 2:

Plate the sliced Tomahawk steak alongside the roasted baby potatoes, roasted carrot and grilled zucchini. Top the steak slices with a small dollop of THC infused garlic herb butter.
