Dosing:
We used 2 tablespoons of our THC infused butter which contain 25mgs of THC per tablespoon giving the entire jar of BBQ sauce 50mgs of THC.
Ingredients:
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons grain mustard
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste for spiciness)
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons THC-infused butter (adjust amount based on desired potency)
Instructions:
Step 1:
In a saucepan, combine the ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, grain mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well to combine.
Step 2:
Stir in the cayenne pepper and paprika. Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper based on your desired level of spiciness.
Step 3:
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
Step 4:
Once the sauce is simmering, add the THC-infused butter to the saucepan. Stir continuously until the butter is fully melted and incorporated into the sauce.
Step 5:
Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together and the sauce to thicken slightly. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Step 6:
Taste the BBQ sauce and adjust the seasonings if necessary. You can add more cayenne pepper for extra heat, more brown sugar for sweetness, or more vinegar for tanginess.
Step 7:
Once the sauce reaches your desired consistency and flavor, remove it from the heat and let it cool completely. Transfer the BBQ sauce to a jar or airtight container and store it in the refrigerator.
