Bananas Foster Chimichanga

Get ready to embark on a culinary adventure with our THC-infused Bananas Foster Chimichanga! We've taken the classic chimichanga to a whole new level by infusing it with a touch of THC-infused butter. Picture ripe bananas dancing in a sweet and sticky brown sugar sauce, wrapped up snugly in a flour tortilla and fried to crispy perfection. It's a munchie-worthy masterpiece that'll have you feeling like you're floating on cloud nine! Top it off with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream, a drizzle of caramel sauce, and a sprinkle of powdered sugar for the ultimate indulgence. So grab your friends, put on your favourite tunes, and get ready to elevate your dessert game with this ganja-infused delight!

Dosing:

We used one tablespoon of THC infused butter containing 28g of THC. This resulted in each of our 4 chimichangas packing a 7mg hit of THC.

Ingredients:

4 eight inch flour tortillas

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon THC-infused butter

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 cup chopped pecans

Vegetable oil, for frying


For Serving (optional):

Vanilla ice cream

Caramel sauce

Powdered sugar


Instructions:

Step 1:

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the THC-infused butter.

Step 2:

Add the sliced bananas, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the skillet.

Cook, stirring gently, until the bananas are softened and coated with the caramelized sauce, about 3-5 minutes.

Step 4.

Stir in the chopped pecans and cook for an additional minute. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.

Assemble the Chimichangas

Step 5.

Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean surface.

Step 6.

Spoon the THC-infused Bananas Foster filling onto the center of each tortilla, dividing it evenly among them.

Step 7.

Fold the sides of the tortillas inward, then roll them up tightly to form chimichangas.

Fry the Chimichangas

Step 8.

In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

Step 9.

Carefully place the chimichangas seam-side down into the hot oil, a few at a time, making sure not to overcrowd the skillet.

Step 10.

Fry the chimichangas until they are golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Step 11.

Use tongs to remove the chimichangas from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Step 12.

Serve the THC-infused Bananas Foster chimichangas warm.

Step 13.

Optionally, top each chimichanga with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzle with caramel sauce, and sprinkle with powdered sugar for an extra indulgent treat.
