Dosing:

We used 3 tablespoons of infused butter with 27mgs of THC per tablespoon, giving us 81mgs of THC in the recipe. Our recipe yielded 6 portions giving each portion with a comfortable 13-15mgs of THC.

Ingredients:

For the filling:

1 lb (450g) ground beef

1 onion, finely chopped

2 carrots, diced

2 celery stalks, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons THC-infused olive oil or butter (adjust potency according to preference)

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1 cup beef broth

1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh herbs (such as parsley or thyme), chopped for garnish

For the mashed potatoes:

4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed

3 tablespoons THC-infused butter (adjust potency according to preference)

1/4 cup milk or cream

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Step 1:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Dice your veggies.

Step 2:

In a large skillet, add 1-2 tbsp. oil over medium heat.

Step 3:

Add the chopped onion, diced carrots, and diced celery to the skillet. Sauté until the vegetables are softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 4:

Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 5:

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, until browned and cooked through.

Step 6:

Stir in the tomato paste, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Step 7:

Pour in the beef broth and worcestershire sauce. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 10-15 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Remove from heat.

Step 8:

While the filling is simmering, prepare the mashed potatoes. Place the cubed potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes are fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Step 9:

Drain the cooked potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the THC-infused butter, milk or cream, salt, and pepper. Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy. Adjust the consistency with more milk or cream if necessary.
