Plated Carne Asada Fries

To control the THC dosing on our Carne Asada Fries we wanted to only infuse one element of the dish. By whisking ½ tablespoon of our THC infused olive oil into the sour cream we were able to create a fantastic tasting sour cream and controlled the THC amount in the dish at 13mgs.

1 bag of frozen french fries

½ pound of steak

1 tablespoon of THC-infused olive oil (adjust according to desired potency)

1 cup of shredded Mexican blend cheese

½ cup of orange juice

¼ cup of lime juice

1 tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

½ tsp dried oregano

2 cloves minced garlic

½ cup of sour cream

¼ cup of chopped cilantro (divided)

¼ cup of diced tomatoes

½ cup of guacamole

Step 1:

Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the french fries package. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Step 2:

In a mixing bowl, combine the THC-infused olive oil, orange juice, lime juice, salt, pepper, oregano, garlic and half of your cilantro. Add steak and ensure that meat is evenly coated. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Step 3:

Spread the frozen french fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake them in the preheated oven according to the package instructions until they are golden brown and crispy.

Step 4:

While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the meat is cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the carne asada from the skillet and set it aside. Allow steak to rest and then slice very thinly.

Step 5:

Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the cooked carne asada evenly over the top.

Step 6:

Sprinkle the shredded Mexican blend cheese over the fries and carne asada. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Step 7:

Remove the carne asada fries from the oven and transfer them to a serving platter.

Step 8:

Garnish the carne asada fries with dollops of guacamole and sour cream, chopped cilantro, diced tomatoes. Serve immediately.

Step 9:

Enjoy your THC-infused carne asada fries responsibly! Remember to clearly label and store any leftover THC-infused ingredients away from children or anyone who shouldn't consume them.
